Know when to come off the slope

Why free reels still need 18+

Social casino games share the look, sound and pacing of real gambling. Snowcap Chalet is intended only for adults over the legal gambling age and is not aimed at anyone under 18. Age is confirmed twice: on the banner that greets you, and with a tick you must make when you create your account.

Lines the chalet never crosses

• Offer or promote gambling where money is staked.
• Hand Tuffet’s coins out as prizes with real-world value.
• Sell coins, or slip in-app purchases into the runs.
• Link to gambling operators, or to affiliates of theirs.
• Use countdowns or streaks to pull you back up the mountain.

A word from the patrol

A free game can be set up to feel generous, and it refills your balance at no cost. Real-money games do neither. Doing well on these slopes says nothing about how you would fare with money at stake.

Warning flags on the piste

• Staying on the reels well past the time you planned.
• Feeling snappy once you stop.
• Spinning to escape a mood.
• It is crowding out sleep, work or people you care about.
• You catch yourself searching for the real-money version of a run.

Keeping a steady grip on the poles

• Choose your finishing time before the first spin.
• Press spin yourself rather than switching on autoplay.
• Come in from the cold for regular breaks.
• Clear this site’s data to start again from scratch, or block the site in your device settings to stop for good.
